We Accept God’s Gift of Grace

In our creation [God] gave us all of Himself, including all of His power. Thus when we chose in our insanity to misdirect that power, He could not interfere with that choice or He would be making us of a lesser order of power. We would no longer be equal in power as He created us. But by His grace, the moment we made the mistaken choice, we were given the means to undo the mistake. We still need to make the choice to let it be undone, but the means is already given. 



My heart is filled with gratitude that I have a Father so loving that He was unwilling to make me lesser than He and equally unwilling to leave me comfortless and without a means to return to Him. The Holy Spirit is His Answer to all my mistaken ideas. 



My only need is to acknowledge my mistakes and accept the means for them to be undone. I do not need to undo them alone. To attempt to do so is to reject the means He gave me. Rather, I need to accept His help and it will be done for me. As long as I continue to believe in false ideas and desire that they be true, I will not accept the means for them to be undone. R-E-L-A-X into the Truth

Peace is an attribute of Truth. When we get involved in the conflicting, illusionary images of the world and believe they are real, we are not at peace. When we are not at peace, we can step back from our involvement in the world by relaxing… It can be helpful to pause, to take a time out, to take a deep breath and relax as we let it out…

As we take the time to relax deeply, the seeming reality of the world softens and we can open our minds to the vision of the Holy Spirit… It will always show us the truth behind the false images of the world.

The daily, even moment-by-moment practice of relaxing into peace will transform our experience of the world. It will lead us out of judgment and bring us Christ’s vision, which shows us the reality of changeless Love that is ever present… As we accept the Love, the perception of conflict fades away… We open to the experience of joining in the Love we all share with God… We R-E-L-A-X into truth…

Let Peace Begin with Me

The light of the world brings peace to every mind through my forgiveness. My forgiveness is the means by which the light of the world finds expression through me. My forgiveness is the means by which I become aware of the light of the world in me. My forgiveness is the means by which the world is healed, together with myself. Let me, then, forgive the world, that it may be healed along with me. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.82.1)

Forgiveness is the path to peace. When we interpret our perception of the present based upon our past experience, we are judging based on the false belief in the idea that we are separate and alone. This is the core of all unforgiveness.

The practice of resigning as our own interpreter and opening our minds to the Holy Spirit’s reinterpretation of all our perceptions frees us from the past. The Holy Spirit’s interpretation always brings peace with it, because It always sees every appearance as either Love or a call for Love. The Holy Spirit’s answer is always an extension of Love, which brings peace with it.

Peace begins with us today as we practice letting the Holy Spirit be our Interpreter moment by moment.

Seeing the Light of Truth in Every Brother

Only appreciation is an appropriate response to your brother. Gratitude is due him for both his loving thoughts and his appeals for help, for both are capable of bringing love into your awareness if you perceive them truly. …Do not attempt to “help” a brother in your way, for you cannot help yourself. But hear his call for the Help of God, and you will recognize your own need for the Father. (A Course in Miracles, T-12.I.6:1-2,10-11)

We heal as we step back and let the Holy Spirit be in charge of our mind. We find freedom as we let the Holy Spirit light up our mind to see the Truth. Here we see the eternal Love that is always there in every brother… Here we see every brother as God created them…

As we practice this, we bring happiness and freedom to everyone we encounter. Everyone wants to see their innocence behind the guilt they believe in. Everyone wants to be loved and known as they truly are.

What a wonderful and joyful opportunity we have today as we allow the Light of Truth to heal our minds and, in so doing, extend this Light of truth to everyone.

Opening to the One Mind of Peace

You are one Self, in perfect harmony with all there is, and all that there will be. You are one Self, the holy Son of God, united with your brothers in that Self; united with your Father in His Will. Feel this one Self in you, and let It shine away all your illusions and your doubts. This is your Self, the Son of God Himself, sinless as Its Creator, with His strength within you and His Love forever yours. You are one Self, and it is given you to feel this Self within you, and to cast all your illusions out of the one Mind that is this Self, the holy truth in you. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.95:13)

As we open to peace, we remember that all is well… We remember that we all are safe within the one Mind of God — our one Self… We let God’s peace carry us to the truth… We allow our minds to be healed because we would have it so…

We let go of focusing on differences and let the Light of truth shine these differences away… Here in this place of perfect peace we feel in harmony with all there is… We allow ourselves to feel the Love that is in everyone… We know that we are blessed and everyone is blessed along with us…

Opening to the Blessing of Love’s Presence

Who uses but Christ’s vision finds a peace so deep and quiet, undisturbable and wholly changeless, that the world contains no counterpart. Comparisons are still before this peace. And all the world departs in silence as this peace envelops it, and gently carries it to truth, no more to be the home of fear. For love has come, and healed the world by giving it Christ’s peace. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.305:1)

Christ’s vision sees only the oneness of Love… It sees only what is real… Seeing only Oneness, Christ’s vision sees no conflict and nothing to compare… This vision cannot be seen with the body’s eyes. It comes when we align our minds with the Mind of Love…

The Holy Spirit was given us as our Friend and Helper to help us realign our minds with Love… As we give our attention to Christ’s vision, the world of conflict, fear and guilt fades away into the nothingness from which it came…

Today we practice keeping our focus aligned with the Holy Spirit so that we may see the innocence in our brothers that the Holy Spirit sees. With this practice, the images of the world fade in their seeming importance and we open to the blessing of Love’s Presence. Our brother represents the Love of our Self when seeing through Christ’s vision… Christ’s vision reminds us of the Truth that we remain Love as Love created us.

Finding Freedom in the Present Moment

To be born again is to let the past go, and look without condemnation upon the present.

The miracle enables you to see your brother without his past, and so perceive him as born again. His errors are all past, and by perceiving him without them you are releasing him. And since his past is yours, you share in this release. Let no dark cloud out of your past obscure him from you, for truth lies only in the present, and you will find it if you seek it there. (A Course in Miracles, T-13.VI.3:5;5)

We accept God’s gift of freedom by forgiving — letting go of the past. Since Love is eternal and changeless and all that is real, time cannot be real. Time is a mechanism of the belief in separation that can seem to separate us from the past and make forgiveness impossible. Yet with the Holy Spirit, Who is not bound by belief in separation, time and space, we can forgive the past and make way to accept God’s gift of freedom to be the changeless Love we were created to be.

Forgiveness is the key to happiness. Forgiveness is how we make way for Love to return to our awareness. As we let go of the past, we are free to see the present moment with our inner eyes. In the present moment only Love is there. In the present moment we join with the Love in all our brothers. In the present moment we are at Home in God’s Love.
