We See Through the Eyes of the Ego or the Vision of Christ

Would you remember the Father? Accept His Son and you will remember Him.

Every brother you meet becomes a witness for Christ or for the ego, depending on what you perceive in him. Everyone convinces you of what you want to perceive, and of the reality of the kingdom you have chosen for your vigilance. Everything you perceive is a witness to the thought system you want to be true. (A Course in Miracles, T-11.V.17:1-2;18:1-3). See also ACIM Text Q & A.

Father, we have had enough of seeing through the ego’s eyes. It has not made us happy. We choose once again to see through Christ’s vision. Our practice for today is to consistently step back from our past way of seeing and open to the way You see every brother. You love them eternally and see them as You created them.

We choose to see as You see and ask Your help to see past the misperceptions of separation to the truth of Love’s oneness. Father we give thanks for Your constant care and know that, as we follow Your guidance instead of the ego’s, we will find eternal happiness.
