God Moves in Mysterious Ways -- by Sanaya Fitzgerald

I had an agenda. I came to Pathways of Light to partake in courses and then become an ordained minister. It was a big step. The Holy Spirit had other ideas and I had 'the little willingness' to follow that voice (my Inner Guidance) and go against the ego or the 'should' voice.

One of the lessons I learned is, 'A healed mind does not plan.' After a couple of days I realized the courses, although valuable, were not what I needed at that time. I followed Holy Spirit's guidance, and discussed it with Robert and Mary, founders of Pathways. I am now participating in the daily 2-hour A Course in Miracles study group here at Pathways, and it's exactly what I need. The rest of my time is free to do as I am guided.

I am staying at Pathways in a beautiful, peaceful setting with minimum distractions, so I can go within. I have worked through abundance issues, like, "Oh, I can't afford to stay here for weeks and not do classes, and just be!" That's the ego. I decided to follow Holy Spirit. All will be provided if I just follow His call with trust and patience.

I will stay here as long as it feels right, and I will let go of everything else that really does not matter. All my life I have put everything else before God and returning Home, and did it work? Did it bring me peace? No, nothing, nada. Every day I would have a big agenda of endless distractions from the Voice for God, dreaming, shopping, doing and more doing. Gently, gradually, I am changing that. It reminds me of what Martin Luther once said, "I have so many things to do today, I must spend three hours in prayer to prepare myself."

Awakening, I greet the day and choose to label it as a great and precious gift. As I dance my morning meditation, I feel like I am making love to all the angels in the universe at once. All my cells are left singing and happy.

As I walk out into my surroundings, I choose to label them beautiful, heaven, home, and so I experience this to be so. My mind is clear, unfettered, and free. I choose to label my emotional body ecstatic, satisfied, fulfilled, and empowered. I label my physical body strong, whole, perfect and fully present. I am alive with passion and possibility.

I allow my heart to open in wide embracement of all it sings--joyous alive songs--and all the words of the songs are, "yes."All the melodies harmoniously blending into symphonies unheard, except to my inner ear. The notes are unseen except to my inner eye, yet my whole being becomes the music. It flows from me as I move. With each heartbeat, I send this music out into the world to share with others. And if they can receive or not is unimportant. All I am given to do, or rather not do but allow, is to let the music flow through me. And when I do, (for at times I can forget) life feels like a vast, deep endless ocean. I allow myself to be fully present in deep appreciation of this pure moment.

I choose to label all my relationships holy, blessed, and perfect. All are deeply loving, growth producing divine sharings of the most intimate connecting, creating bliss on all levels for myself and all others.

All of my friendships are eternal. Love is the keynote and all that is true. Even in my darkest moments, love surrounds and enfolds me. The world is a reflection of me, all faces are my face, all pain my pain, all joy my deep hearts delight. I hold all parts of myself with deep gentleness and respect, with total embracement and acceptance. I continually cultivate my willingness to say yes, to open and receive the infinite blessings that are continually showered upon me every day in every way.

Am I the leader or a follower?

We are a group of children
walking through the countryside.
We are leaving darkness behind.
It is winter, we wear heavy clothing.

We walk uphill for quite awhile.
Then we reach the mountain.
Climb the mountain? Retreat to darkness?
No choice at all.
We begin to climb the mountain.

The path, wide and not so steep.
As we climb, the path begins to narrow.
Only two of us can walk abreast.
The path gets steeper and narrower still.
We hold hands and encourage each other.

The path continues to narrow.
We place our chests to the wall
and turn our heads in the direction we are going.
We continue to hold hands.
We continue to climb.
It becomes dark and we cannot see.

The path continues to narrow.
The smaller children are crying.
I am about 11 years old and know the only answer is to keep going.
We continue on.
The path stops. And so do we.
We do not retreat.
We do not jump off the mountain.
We do not fall off the mountain.

Today this dream came to me in my meditation. My question was answered. We stopped because we were waiting. We were waiting for the path to reappear. It has. And I am both the leader and the follower.

Yes Father, Yes Love!
I open the door, I open my heart.
I let you in.
The Will of Love is my own.
The Song of Love is my song.
The Life of Love is my life.
Never am I alone.
Yes Father! Yes Love!
You are my mind, my heart, my breath,
You are the Life of me.
I open the door and give You home.

Embrace of Love -- by Rev. Nancy Moore

I'm going to help you draw a masterpiece.

Practice lifting Love's Embrace from this storehouse.

Practice for 100 days. Again.

Practice twice a day for 100 days. Activate your mind to supply Love's energy.

Practice six times a day for 100 days. Provoke it. Channel it. Again.

Practice twelve times a day. You are adding to your container, expanding it, strengthening it.

Again for 100 days. Get past your comfort level.

Practice 33 times a day. Allow Love to work through you.

Practice ___ times a day. Love has become a Prayer of Love's Embrace.

Now you have it. Your masterpiece.
