My husband and I live in a rural area and when we moved off of the farm, I was still driving a school bus. It was a cold winter morning and the snow had fallen very heavily over night. I checked out my bus, checked in with headquarters on the two way radio and heard that the drivers were having trouble on the snow-covered roads. Instead of going on the main road, I went my usual route, but it was not plowed. I went down a hill and got stuck in a drift that was too deep for the bus to go through.
Luckily, I always take my shovel along to dig my bus out. I got out and shoveled, but there was so much snow under the bus that I couldn't reach under far enough. I shoveled furiously, because the buses are supposed to be on time. My arms ached and I was sweating and exhausted. After a while, I decided to get on the two-way radio and ask for help. I was told to get out as best I could as there was no one available to help me. I was also told that I should have taken the main road.
I tried shoveling a little more, but couldn't raise another shovel of snow. I stood at the open door and cried out helplessly with great passion. "Oh Lord, help me. I just can't anymore." No sooner did I send that prayer than a snow plow appeared behind me, pushing snow furiously to one side. He drove through the ditch on the right side of my bus and came out on the road in front of the bus clearing the way ahead of me and plowed up to the corner that was already plowed. He then turned around and came back, clearing the rest of the snow away and passed on my right side again through the ditch.
I hollered "Thank you, thank you." He never looked at me and disappeared as fast as he came. I started the bus and drove out with ease and didn't tell anyone of my experience. When spring arrived and all of the snow was gone, I drove back to that road and specifically watched the right ditch and saw so many large boulders that I knew a truck would have had difficulty getting through, much less a snow plow. Then I knew for sure it was a miracle. When things happen, I think of that incident with much gratitude.

Beyond Death and Dying -- by Rev. Linda Green
The Holy Spirit will help you reinterpret everything that you perceive as fearful, and teach you that only what is loving is true. A Course in Miracles, Text, p.74/81)
In August this year, in the Transitional Care Unit in a large metropolitan hospital, which is a cog in a large corporation, I met Love. This was a profound and almost tangible experience, a miracle, a change in perception. Miracles spring from love. Miracles are natural. The real miracle is the love from which it springs. Everything inspired by love is a miracle. I have a dear friend with whom I rarely speak, even more rarely see, yet he and I are close soul friends, connected in truth and love when our paths do cross every year or so. Our inner Voice for God, the Holy Spirit, teaches us that we meet ourselves in the other. The relationship is holy or whole because we are.
There are no accidents, no coincidences, for all is part of God's plan. By "coincidence," following an inner prompting, I phoned my friend's partner about something and "incidentally" found out that my friend's elderly father, a smoker, was in the hospital with recently diagnosed lung cancer. Even when something feels fearful, God is there in every state, every place, every time. Where God is, there is nothing to fear. As a Healing Touch and Therapeutic Touch volunteer at that hospital, I immediately arranged for another volunteer to treat him.
Following up on the other volunteer's loving concern, I visited the old man, whom I'd met only briefly many years ago. I began my lesson in love, through the teaching of my Inner Teacher. The old man declined touch treatment because it didn't fit with his belief system, so we talked instead. His craving for conversation, desire to speak openly of death, desire to reminisce, sounded like a call for healing and help. He expressed belief in only the scientific and material, yet he spoke about a life filled with his love for his family. I put aside my agenda of giving a touch treatment, and asked for help from Spirit in not judging him for not accepting my gift of touch. Spirit showed me his love and his call for love. Upon parting, we shook hands, and he said how good that touch felt!
A couple of days later, I visited him again, and felt so much love for him, I was almost bursting with eagerness to express it somehow, yet still honor his preferences. When we are filled with love, our only need is to extend it. The worldly ego mind doesn't know where that love came from. My real Self knows, for all of us are Love. To be in a real relationship with anyone, we equally love everyone. True love is inclusive to all, not exclusive to some. After we talked for quite a while, I experimented with putting my hands on his shoulder and hip, and asked him how it felt. He said it felt good! We remained that way, staying in touch, for about half an hour, while he talked with another visitor. During this time, Love enveloped us like a miraculous cloud. The love surrounding him was so real, I could easily feel it. In my belief system, it felt like loving spirit beings, his angels, and the Holy Spirit were there to protect, comfort, and guide him Home. "The still infinity of endless peace surrounds you gently in its soft embrace, so strong and quiet, tranquil in the might of its Creator, nothing can intrude upon the sacred Son of God within." (ACIM, Text, p.570/614) This was the first time I saw him relax, at peace.
The next day he left for hospice, and within five days, passed on to join his wife in the spirit world, with his son, my friend, at his side during the transition. As this dear one sought truth, peace was the inevitable result. Farewell, dear man, seeker and finder of Truth. "The Holy Spirit guides you into life eternal, but you must relinquish your investment in death, or you will not see life though it is all around you." (ACIM, Text, p.209/225) I'm grateful for the opportunity to have experienced this miracle of love.

Willingness -- by Rev. Mary Manke
There are many different paths to awakening. No single path makes one better or more right than another path. What appears in the instruction of any path is what resonates with the student. Let that being follow the resonance of their heart, for it is their acceptance of truth, however it comes to them, that will eventually bring them Home.
Every day I'm reminded that my willingness is the key to what will give me true happiness. I'm learning how large the area that willingness covers. (Like everything!) I'm learning how much I choose to forget which teacher I would listen to. As I learn to ask and listen to the Voice of Love, I find the peace, joy, and gratitude that is always waiting for me.
It is only my stubborn notion that I can do things or decide things for myself that keeps me blind to the love that surrounds me. By remembering that I cannot decide alone in anything, and remembering to ask the One Teacher that knows, I will be given a day of happiness. And if I forget, I need only choose (be willing) to turn my thoughts of fear over to Him, ask Him to decide for me, and all is well.
I am ever grateful that my Inner Guidance is always within and never failing in Its answers to me and my concerns. May I encourage you to find and practice listening to your Inner Guidance, for our Father has not left anyone without comfort or the Voice of Love.
If I am willing, Spirit will fill my mind with fresh thoughts--thoughts of love and thoughts of truth. It is these thoughts that I resonate with and would share with my brothers. If I am willing, my perception is corrected in the most loving way. If I am willing, I'm made free from the prison the ego beliefs would hold me in. If I am willing, I am given the love to extend everywhere at any time. If I am willing, my memory of God's Love will be restored to me.
