Experiencing the Limitless Flow of Love

There is no efforting in Spirit. Without belief in separation, with its forms, time and space, there is no thought of urgency. There is only the free, ongoing extension of Love. This free flow can be reflected in the world if we let our doing be guided by Love. Love knows what is truly helpful. Love sees past the limiting appearances that belief in separation present.

Our practice today is to let Love flow freely through. Love smooths the way with gentleness and ease. As we walk the path of Love, we are carried in Light and travel lightly. All our doing becomes an expression of Love. We feel Love’s blessing and offer Love’s blessing in each moment. We experience the limitless flow of Love.

We Open the Door to God’s Love

And so today we do not choose the way in which we go to Him. But we do choose to let Him come. And with this choice we rest. And in our quiet hearts and open minds, His Love will blaze its pathway of itself. What has not been denied is surely there, if it be true and can be surely reached. God knows His Son, and knows the way to him. He does not need His Son to show Him how to find His way. Through every opened door His Love shines outward from its home within, and lightens up the world in innocence. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.189.9)

God’s Love is eternally present in our heart and mind. Today we practice keeping the door open so that God’s Love shines forth unimpeded by our barriers to Love. We let God’s Way be known to us. It is the gentle way of peace and kindness. It is the simple and uncomplicated way as we return to God. It is there now and we let the door be opened and accept the happiness we receive.

Pausing to Accept God’s Peace and Joy

Today we practice accepting God’s peace and joy. As we accept God’s peace, we naturally extend it to everyone around us. We will take many little “peace and joy breaks” throughout the day to remember that God’s gifts of peace and joy are already ours. We will accept His gifts and extend them to all our brothers. And we will experience the blessings of these gifts each time we give them.

Letting Holy Spirit Be in Charge

This holy instant would I give to You. Be You in charge. For I would follow You, certain that Your direction gives me peace.” (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.361-365)

Today our practice is to follow Holy Spirit’s lead. We let our minds be purified as we open the door and welcome in true perception. We want to see as Holy Spirit sees. We want to recognize and join with the Love That is everywhere. We want to follow Holy Spirit’s plan for our awakening and not our own.

Today we practice being receptive every moment to a constant flow of inspiration from the Holy Spirit. We know the inspiration is of Holy Spirit by the level of peace we experience. We accept God’s peace and extend God’s peace. And we are grateful for Holy Spirit’s constant flow of gifts throughout the day.

Opening the Door to God’s Light

Only by fulfilling the function given you by God will you be happy. That is because your function is to be happy by using the means by which happiness becomes inevitable. There is no other way. Therefore, every time you choose whether or not to fulfill your function [to forgive], you are really choosing whether or not to be happy. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.64.4)

When we open the door to God’s Light, we are perceiving as the Holy Spirit sees. Light sees only Light. Darkness sees only darkness. When we open the door to the Light, our mind is enlightened and peace, joy and happiness come with it automatically.

We open the door to God’s Light by forgiving. Happiness is the inevitable result of forgiveness, of seeing innocence. If we are not happy, we are not seeing innocence.

Seeing Past Form to Eternal Love

Our practice for today is to be willing to let how we see the world be replaced by the Holy Spirit. When we open to the Light, the Light comes in automatically. So now we focus on opening to the Light, letting go of our barriers against the Light. This is what today is for.

We apply this practice throughout our day. We know that as we consistently open to the Light of Truth, we are able to see the world as the Holy Spirit sees it. We are able to be truly helpful to our awakening and the awakening of the world. It is truly worth the practice. This is what time is for.

Being a Clear Channel for Holy Spirit

Our prayer today:  Help me to perceive as You perceive the world, Holy Spirit. Of myself I do not know what anything means. Believing I am alone blinds me from seeing with Your vision. I am willing to set aside this belief and welcome Your vision, Holy Spirit.

I am willing to follow Your lead in each moment to be Your instrument in all my doing today. I am willing to accept Your strength, knowing that with Your strength I can do anything You guide me to do. I know that following Your lead is the path to joy. This path to joy leads me Home, where I belong and am eternally.
