We Receive and Extend God’s Peace Today

In order to extend the blessings of God’s peace, we must first receive it. Our practice for today is to open our minds to the loving Light of God’s peace and extend it everywhere. This is how we receive God’s blessings and extend it to the world. This is how we can be truly helpful.

As we consistently practice receiving God’s peace all through the day, our perceptions are transformed. We see the world anew through Holy Spirit’s eyes, because with God’s peace comes Holy Spirit’s understanding. Our minds are purified. Along with God’s peace comes gentleness and patience. We remember we are safe and everyone is safe in God’s holy Mind.

We receive and extend God’s peace today.

I Will There Be Light

Our opportunity today is to choose mind healing with the Holy Spirit in charge. The Holy Spirit knows how to heal our minds; we do not. Giving time to the Holy Spirit to use for His purposes is our highest priority today. We do this by letting our mind quiet and being willing to listen to the healing inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

When we truly will with the Holy Spirit, the Light of peace and joy automatically returns to our mind. In truth we are one with the mind of the Holy Spirit. If we do not experience our oneness, it is because we are blocking it from our awareness. We can choose once again, right now, to will there be Light. This is Holy Spirit’s invitation to join with us and bring Its healing perspectives. This is our practice for today.

The Hard Way or the Easy Way

In every moment we choose between the hard way and the easy way. The hard way is choosing the ego’s way, which is the denial of our true Nature. It takes constant vigilance to deny What we are in truth and make believe that we are something else. Yet we have taught ourselves to do this automatically. Because we have taught ourselves so thoroughly, it seems to be the easy choice to make.

The other choice, the only real choice, is to accept our Self as the Love we are. It takes no effort to be What we were created to be. But it takes great vigilance to interrupt the habit of denying What we are. Thus it seems that to accept the Truth is the hard way, but it’s only the need for vigilance against the habit of denial that requires our willingness and our constant attention.

Today our practice is to pay attention, moment by moment, to the Inspiration of our true Self, the Holy Spirit in our mind. With this practice, we will make the choice that leads to the easy, gentle, happy flow of Love.

Accepting Love’s Kindness, Gentleness and Patience

Love’s kindness, gentleness and patience are attributes of the Son of God. Collectively we are the Son of God and naturally share these attributes. If we do not experience being Love, then we have denied the truth of What we are and accepted a false image of ourselves in Its place. This false image is the ego thought system of separation.

To return to our natural attributes as God’s Son, we need to seek out all the false images, the fear, the guilt, that hide the truth from our awareness. As we become aware of these false ideas, we need to bring them to the Holy Spirit Who, with kindness, gentleness and patience, will help us release the false images and lift the veil that hides Love from our awareness.

Each time we experience defensiveness, we have an opportunity to heal our minds from the illusion of being alone and separate and to accept that we remain Love as Love created us. This is the practice of forgiveness. This is how we accept Love’s kindness, gentleness and patience. This is our practice for today.

Trust in Holy Spirit’s Plan

We will be told everything we need to know whenever we need to know it. Our job is to give the Holy Spirit the time to listen and receive. Our job is to have a consistent habit of choosing peace over conflict, choosing Love instead of fear, opening to Holy Spirit’s perspective instead of deciding anything on our own. As we consistently step back and open to the Light of Truth, we can be certain that Inspiration is there every moment as we need it.

Peace, Love and joy are ever present, waiting for our acceptance. Because we are one in the Mind of God, we cannot disinherit the gifts of God. We can hide them from our awareness, but we cannot lose them. As soon as we are willing to open up to the Holy Spirit’s Help, the barriers to the awareness of Love’s Presence are dissolved for us because we are welcoming the Light into our mind. With this practice, our trust in Holy Spirit’s plan grows.

Accepting the Flow of God’s Plan for Us

Would you rather experience the effort and struggle of rowing your boat upstream against the flow? Or would you rather experience the joy of gently going with the flow and letting the flow carry you without effort? When you choose to identify yourself as a body with a separate identity and private thoughts, you are choosing to struggle upstream. When you choose to accept the guidance of your Inner Teacher, you are guided with the flow and to accept your true Identity.

Today we choose to let the flow of Spirit guide us gently down the stream of Love. We practice paying attention to Love’s lead each moment. We hold our mind open, free of our own plans, to make way to receive the Holy Spirit’s joyful plans that lead us to fulfilling our true purpose. We are willing to accept His plan, remembering that Holy Spirit brings us the happiness that comes with fulfilling God’s plan for us. This is our dedication today.

God Is Always in Our Mind

Today we are willing to remember that God is in our mind… Today we are willing to remember that peace resides in the deeper levels of our mind… Along with peace, reside joy and happiness… Today we are willing to go to this holy place in our mind and receive the blessings therein… Today we rejoice in the fact that we carry these wonderful blessings with us wherever we go and always have the opportunity to extend them to the world…

Because God is always in our mind, God goes with us wherever we go. God’s Thoughts are always there to heal the false ideas that come up for healing. We can remember that we are always blessed and our opportunity is always to extend the blessing to everyone, because we are one.
