Salvation’s Prayer

Father, You stand before me and behind, beside me, in the place I see myself, and everywhere I go. You are in all the things I look upon, the sounds I hear, and every hand that reaches for my own. In You time disappears, and place becomes a meaningless belief. For what surrounds Your Son and keeps him safe is Love itself. There is no source but this, and nothing is that does not share its holiness; that stands beyond Your one creation, or without the Love which holds all things within itself. Father, Your Son is like Yourself. We come to You in Your Own Name today, to be at peace within Your everlasting Love. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.264.1)

Today we let opening to God’s Love be our highest priority. We are willing to accept the truth of Love’s Presence in everything we see or think of. Love’s Presence is beyond form, but ever present everywhere. And for this we are in deep gratitude. In gratitude we welcome the truth in our brothers and see it in ourselves.

Are We Willing to Follow?

Do we want to be happy? Are we willing to follow Holy Spirit’s guidance? These questions are the same. The Holy Spirit’s function is to guide us to the truth of What we are. What we are is eternally happy because we share God’s joy.

The old habit is to ask the ego first for its interpretation of what we see and to ask it what to do. Yet experience has shown that the ego never leads us to joy. In fact, it leads us in the opposite direction to guilt, fear and pain. Some things in the world do seem to bring temporary happiness. But these appearances are illusions that never last.

Thankfully we have another Guide Whose purpose is to lead us back to the joy of our true Self. We need not be afraid of it. The Holy Spirit’s guidance demands no sacrifice. We need only be willing to relinquish all our judgments and let the Holy Spirit judge on our behalf. His judgment is very simple. If it is not changeless Love, it is not real. When we accept the Holy Spirit’s judgment, it is very easy to let go of misperceptions, which clears the away for the acceptance of the joy of our being as Love.

Today our practice is to hold our minds open to the Holy Spirit’s lead with willingness to follow.

Accepting the Gift of Joy

The Holy Spirit is in you in a very literal sense. His is the Voice that calls you back to where you were before and will be again. It is possible even in this world to hear only that Voice and no other. It takes effort and great willingness to learn. It is the final lesson that I learned, and God’s Sons are as equal as learners as they are as Sons. (A Course in Miracles, T-5.II.3:7-11)

Today we make the choice to hear Holy Spirit’s Voice all through the day. Today we are vigilant for the truth. Today we receive truth and give what we receive. The whole Sonship is equally God’s one Son, and we are willing to recognize this truth today.

The Holy Spirit’s Voice is the Call to joy. If we want to be happy, we must be willing to hear this Call to joy. Today’s practice of listening to the Holy Spirit’s Voice is the practice of receiving God’s gift of joy. It is the practice that leads us to perfect happiness.

Each step we take in opening to the Call to joy motivates us to be willing to receive more. As we receive the joy, we naturally want to extend it to all, for joy cannot be contained. Today’s practice is a step toward accepting the gift of joy that is our inheritance as God’s Son.

Simple, Uncomplicated Love

Today I let simple, uncomplicated Love lead me… I let Love transform my thoughts… I let Love guide my actions… I let Love guide my state of mind today…

I let Love help me look past appearances to the innocence in everyone… I let Love lead me to the awareness of Love’s Presence everywhere…

Today I focus on the presence of the simple, uncomplicated Love that is everywhere.

Let Me Walk with God Today

Let me walk with gratitude in my heart as I remember that only Love is real… Let me keep my mind open to Holy Spirit’s inspiration all through the day… Let me see innocence where I once saw guilt… Let me see past illusions to the eternal truth that we all are God’s one Son, forever innocent, healed and whole… Let me walk with God today.

We Remember Love’s Infinite Patience

We are all the same Love. This is the truth. Today we practice opening to this truth and allowing ourselves to acknowledge Love’s oneness… We relax into Love’s peace… We remember to step back and let Love lead the way…

Being aware of Love’s Presence, we are patient with ourselves and those around us along the way… We remember it is a process and are kind with ourselves and others as we open to the truth of our Reality in the one Mind of God… We are grateful that, no matter what appearances are, we all are still only Love… and that will never change… And for this we give thanks.

The Choice for Love

As I listen to God’s Voice, I am sustained by His Love. As I open my eyes, His Love lights up the world for me to see. As I forgive, His Love reminds me that His Son is sinless. And as I look upon the world with the vision He has given me, I remember that I am His Son. (A Course in Miracles, ACIM, W-pI.60.5:2-5)

Every moment is an opportunity to receive God’s Love. His Love never stops. We are eternally in the flow of Love, no matter what the appearances seem to be. In every moment we have the choice: Accept the Presence of Love or deny It.

The choice to believe that we are bodies, separate from each other, each in our own little world, private and alone, is the denial of Love’s Presence. The denial of Love is the choice for fear and guilt.

In this moment, now, we can choose to stop the denial and to welcome Love. This choice brings with it the experience of deep peace, a quiet that cannot be disturbed, a certainty that we are sustained by the Love of God and a joy of experiencing unity with every brother and with our Source. Today we practice making this choice for Love.
