“You have the right to all the universe; to perfect peace, complete deliverance from all effects of sin, and to the life eternal, joyous and complete in every way, as God appointed for His holy Son. This is the only justice Heaven knows, and all the Holy Spirit brings to earth. …Let love decide, and never fear that you, in your unfairness, will deprive yourself of what God’s justice has allotted you.” (T-25.VIII.14:1-2,7)
Because God’s Love is given equally to all, if we feel any lack of Love we must be believing in a false image of ourselves. That is why forgiveness, or letting go of this false image, is the key to happiness. To know God’s gift of joy, we must relinquish all judgment. We must accept that of ourselves alone, we know nothing.
We need to redirect our attention from our made up self-image to the Holy Spirit, our true Self, in our minds. Our true Self does know God’s joy and Love. Our true Self extends Love ceaselessly. If we are not seeing that Love being extended through us and our brothers, we are simply focusing on a false image that is not our brother nor ourselves. It is time to let it go.
We are free, right now, to accept the peace of Heaven, the joy of extending Love equally to all. We dedicate today to focusing our attention on the loving Self within and welcoming the vision of innocence our Self brings to us in each moment. As we see with this vision, it will be a day of blessing and of Love.
