Forgiveness is the only thing that stands for truth in the illusions of the world. It sees [illusions’] nothingness, and looks straight through the thousand forms in which they may appear. It looks on lies, but it is not deceived.
By its ability to overlook what is not there, [forgiveness] opens up the way to truth, which has been blocked by dreams of guilt. Now are you free to follow in the way your true forgiveness opens up to you. For if one brother has received this gift of you, the door is open to yourself. All stress, worry, anxiety, uncertainty, unworthiness, depression, fear and guilt are the effect of judgment, of unforgiveness. Forgiveness is the antidote to all these disturbances in the world of separation. We forgive by turning over all our judgments to the Holy Spirit to let Him judge on our behalf and show us how He sees all the things that seem to disturb our peace. Because He knows the truth of what is real and not real, He looks past the illusions that seem so real to us.
If we bring our judgments to Him with open minds and hearts, willing to receive His loving vision, we let Him lead us on the path to Heaven. Each time we do this and accept His vision, we take another step toward Home, bringing our brothers with us. All our brothers are joined with us each time we let our minds be healed of a mistaken belief. Our healing is shared with all the world. Today we practice bringing all our judgments to the Holy Spirit in our minds and move forward along the path to Heaven.
