This morning as I go to Spirit, I find myself thinking about all the things that need to be done today. I find it difficult to let my mind quiet. So I go to a process that is very helpful for me. I imagine myself under a waterfall of God’s healing peace… I simply give time to letting God’s peace be absorbed in… I focus merely on receiving God’s peace… I let God’s peace wash everything else away… I let myself relax into this time of accepting peace… If a thought comes in, I hand it over to peace where it is gently washed away. I just breathe in peace and extend peace until I can feel it stronger and stronger…
What comes to me is that this is a place of true rest… This eternal state of peace is always present, waiting for me to let it in. There is no past and no future here — just peace… In this place there is nowhere to go and no “to do” lists. This place is timeless and eternal. I feel a feeling of gratitude here and thankfulness for having everything I need. There is nothing lacking — a feeling of deep and full abundance. I feel very grateful for this awareness and I realize that everyone is this presence of peace that I feel.
I have a sense that my job today is to be willing to be aware of this eternal presence of peace and look for it in everyone I meet today. And what I look for in my heart of hearts, I always find. This truly is a day of many blessings as I seek for and find peace, which is always there if I am willing to accept it into my heart and mind.

Peace is a condition of God’s Son because it is a condition of Heaven, which is his Home. If I am not experiencing peace, I am believing I have wandered away from Home. The antidote is to step back and let peace return to my mind. That is all I need to do.
Today I will practice stepping back and letting peace lead the way. Because peace is always found in the eternal present, the practice of stepping back and letting peace lead the way is the practice of forgiveness. With this practice, today will be another step forward on my journey of awakening.
