If I want to remember the Love of God, I need to let go of all grievances. Love holds no grievances. Grievances (or judgments) make the appearance of separation seem real. They are the principal mechanism of the ego to hold the thought of separation in place. In the ego thought system, grievances and judgments are habitual. I move through life following a trance script that automatically judges and holds the past against the present.
When I pay attention I see how many times a day I make little snap judgments. I might look at one person and decide their nice looking then label someone else as frumpy. I may look at a car and see that its paint is faded and rusty and decide it is not as nice as a shiny new one. Since all these are images in the dream, they are really meaningless. They don’t really matter.
Having an opinion about any image in the world simply stands in the way of letting the Light of Love shine through me on everything. My own opinions interfere with my willingness to see with Holy Spirit’s vision. But I want the peace of God. I want to remember the Love He is and I am. I want to see with the Light of Love. I want to see the Love my brother is and join in that Love. I want to remember that I am Love. I want to remember only Love is real.
So today my practice is to turn over my opinions (aka grievances and judgments) to the Holy Spirit with willingness to receive His vision in their place. This is how I will accept God’s gift of perfect happiness and Love.

Today is a day to remember that the Holy Spirit is right there in my mind, willing to bring me the peace of God and an awareness of Love’s presence… Today is a day of practicing keeping my mind open to Holy Spirit’s gentle guidance all through the day. Today I will practice bring receptive to the truth.
As ideas and their accompanying feelings come from the false mind, I will patiently hand them over to my true Self instead of thinking I know anything on my own. Today is a day letting my mind be quiet and opening to the gentle Teacher within. I am willing to receive the blessings this practice brings. And I give thanks.
