We are back from the ACIM International Conference in San Francisco. It was a wonderful event where we met many old and new friends. We had a lot of time with Nouk Sanchez and she shared in depth about the healing experience she had with Tomas during his transition. Tomas truly did use the situation as a platform to fully awaken to the one Christ Mind we all share. We are all blessed by his dedication and willingness to go beyond all judgment and accept the Love that we all are.

It’s nice to be back home now and take time to remember the peace of God within. In our reading in A Course in Miracles this morning, this is what stood out to us.
Sit quietly and close your eyes. The light within you is sufficient. It alone has power to give the gift of sight to you. Exclude the outer world, and let your thoughts fly to the peace within. They know the way. For honest thoughts, untainted by the dream of worldly things outside yourself, become the holy messengers of God Himself. (W-pI.188.6)
What stands out the most is “let your thoughts fly to the peace within.” Giving time to joining with the peace of our one Source is the same as joining with the strength of God instead of the weakness of the ego’s thoughts of separation. We see that taking time for this is very important. Joining with the still waters of God’s peace is very helpful after so much outer activity. We feel so grateful for God’s gift of peace that is always there as we are willing to join with it. It is all we want; it is all we need.
From this powerful experience of peace, we remember the strength of God in us, and we are guided to extend it to the world in all our doing. “The peace of God is shining in you now, and from your heart extends around the world. It pauses to caress each living thing, and leaves a blessing with it that remains forever and forever. And what [peace] gives must be eternal.” (188.3:1-3)
