Whenever you are tempted to undertake a useless journey that would lead away from light, remember what you really want, and say:
The Holy Spirit leads me unto Christ, and where else would I go? What need have I but to awake in Him?
Then follow Him in joy, with faith that He will lead you safely through all dangers to your peace of mind this world may set before you. …Content yourself with what you will as surely keep, and be not restless, for you undertake a quiet journey to the peace of God, where He would have you be in quietness. (A Course in Miracles, T-13.VII.14;15:1,3)
As we allow ourselves to be led to quietness, every problem is quietly resolved. In quietness there is peace and joy, and awareness that we are enfolded in God’s Love. In quietness there is an awareness that in truth we still remain as God created us. In truth we have never left God and are in Heaven now.
Allowing our mind to be still is an invitation for the Holy Spirit to enter. The Holy Spirit has great gifts to give as we are willing to step back and let Him lead the way. He gladly returns us to the awareness of Love’s eternal presence. He shows us that we are safe, we are innocent, we are loved, we are Home. And for this we are filled with gratitude as we quiet our minds and let Holy Spirit in.
