Take one step at a time, remembering in each moment to step back and choose peace… Be like a little child, remembering that you do not know what anything means… Step back and receive peace and understanding from the Holy Spirit… Continue this throughout the day…

When it seems like there is a lot of things to do, things to remember, I find it helpful to write them down so that I can let them go. While the ‘to do’ thoughts are racing through my mind, my attention is on the ‘future’ rather than now. Writing these things down so that I can let them go makes the next step easier — taking time to go to peace and opening to Holy Spirit’s lead. Then I let Holy Spirit set the priorities of what to focus on in the now moment. I get myself into trouble when I try to decide on my own what I should be doing.
Today seems to be one of those days where I need to redouble my attention to my level of peace and stepping back to follow. This is how I let Holy Spirit be my time manager. He always does a better job than I do. On my own, my doing becomes simply a reinforcement of the belief that I am alone and separate. With His lead, all my doing is in service to awakening. Today I would follow and serve.
