Learn to be quiet in the midst of turmoil, for quietness is the end of strife and this is the journey to peace. Look straight at every image that rises to delay you, for the goal is inevitable because it is eternal. The goal of love is but your right, and it belongs to you despite your dreams. The ego is in constant turmoil. Being an illusion, the ego is wholly uncertain. All our thoughts that are aligned with the ego thought system bring uncertainty with them, no matter how much we try to inflate them with seeming
importance and validity.
When we choose peace, we are choosing the path to certainty because we are choosing the path to our true Self. Nothing is more certain than God and His Creation. Though the dream is filled with uncertainty, the path to certainty is always available. Just choose peace.
Our practice today is to be mindful of our state of peace and to choose peace whenever a sense of uncertainty, of turmoil, seems to be in our minds. As we accept peace, we accept the certainty of God’s Love.
