[I am as God created me.] Holy indeed is he who makes these words his own; arising with them in his mind, recalling them throughout the day, at night bringing them with him as he goes to sleep. His dreams are happy and his rest secure, his safety certain and his body healed, because he sleeps and wakens with the truth before him always. Being as God created us, we must be wholly loving, invulnerable and incapable of harming anything or anyone. These are the attributes of the one Self we share with everyone, the one Self that lives and has its being in God.
It seems that we are anything but this description of our Self. This is because we have identified with a false image that is the denial of Truth. Frequent repeating of this idea helps loosen our identification with the false. We have reinforced heavily the false belief. So we need frequent, consistent reinforcement of the truth that we are as God created us. This is how we undo the false belief and welcome the truth that we are Love, we are safe and we are harmless because we are as God created us.
Today we practice reminding ourselves of this saving Truth as we look upon a world which seems to show us its opposite. This is how we bring the Truth to dispel the illusion. This is how we return Home.
