Remembering the Life We Live in God

It is your forgiveness that will bring the world of darkness to the light. It is your forgiveness that lets you recognize the light in which you see. Forgiveness is the demonstration that you are the light of the world. Through your forgiveness does the truth about yourself return to your memory. Therefore, in your forgiveness lies your salvation.

Illusions about yourself and the world are one. That is why all forgiveness is a gift to yourself. Your goal is to find out who you are, having denied your Identity by attacking creation and its Creator. Now you are learning how to remember the truth. For this attack must be replaced by forgiveness, so that thoughts of life may replace thoughts of death [separation].

Remember that in every attack [perceived separation] you call upon your own weakness, while each time you forgive you call upon the strength of Christ in you. Do you not then begin to understand what forgiveness will do for you? It will remove all sense of weakness, strain and fatigue from your mind. It will take away all fear and guilt and pain. It will restore the invulnerability and power God gave His Son to your awareness.

Forgiveness is my function as the light of the world.
I would fulfill my function that I may be happy.

God is our Life and source of strength. He created us eternally one with Himself. When we identify with a body, we perceive separation. This is a denial of the Self God created one with Him. It is an attack on God and His Son. This could only seem to occur in a dream which has no effect on Reality.

Forgiveness releases us from the dream of lovelessness, weakness and death. It awakens us to the truth that we remain as God created us. In the dream we accept a false image of ourself as separate and alone. From the perspective of this false image, we see a false world that seems to confirm the reality of our false identity.

But in the dream we still have an unbreakable connection to the Life we live in God. Christ’s vision reveals this connection by showing us the oneness of Love that has been covered by the ego’s false images. We welcome Christ’s vision by pausing to question our perceptions in the world. By questioning what we believe, we open our mind to the vision of Christ. It shows us that what seems to happen in the world has no effect on our true Self. It reminds us of the strength, Love and Life we share with God.

Today we practice asking of Holy Spirit, “What does this mean?” With this open mind we will remember our strength and eternal Life in God.
