For this alone I need; that you will hear the words I speak, and give them to the world. You are my voice, my eyes, my feet, my hands through which I save the world. The Self from which I call to you is but your own. To Him we go together. Take your brother’s hand, for this is not a way we walk alone. In him I walk with you, and you with me. If we would be the expression of our true Self in the world, we must see with the vision of our true Self, speak as It would speak and act as It would act. Since our true Self is only Love, we must let Love guide us in all things.
Our practice must be to look past behavior without judgment to see the Love and the calls for Love. If we perceive another as angry or guilty or frightening, we need to recognize the call for Love it represents. With that recognition, Love answers. As we let Love answer through us, our own calls for Love are answered.
When we serve as the voice and hands and feet of our true Self, we heal and are healed. We see the truth in our brother and recognize it as the reflection of the truth in us. The brother who seemed to be apart from us is seen as one with us. In this joining, we reach the gate of Heaven and are welcomed Home.
