You cannot give yourself your innocence, for you are too confused about yourself. But should one brother dawn upon your sight as wholly worthy of forgiveness, then your concept of yourself is wholly changed.
By focusing upon the good in him, the body grows decreasingly persistent in your sight, and will at length be seen as little more than just a shadow circling round the good. And this will be your concept of yourself, when you have reached the [real] world beyond the sight your eyes alone can offer you to see. Believing what the body’s eyes show us is choosing to be blind to the truth. The body is an illusion, a false image, incapable of seeing truth. But we all have an inner vision in our minds that can see past images of bodies and other forms to the Light of Love, Which is all that is true. Because we have so identified with being a body, we need the Aid that God has given us to connect with the inner vision that shows us truth.
Today we practice bringing all we seem to see with the body’s eyes to God’s Aide Whose purpose is to guide us to see the truth of the innocence of Love that is everywhere and in everyone. As we accept this inner vision, we see that we are innocent, as we were created.
