I am sustained by the Love of God.
Here is the answer to every problem that will confront you, today and tomorrow and throughout time. ²In this world, you believe you are sustained by everything but God.
Only the Love of God will protect you in all circumstances. ²It will lift you out of every trial, and raise you high above all the perceived dangers of this world into a climate of perfect peace and safety. ³It will transport you into a state of mind that nothing can threaten, nothing can disturb, and where nothing can intrude upon the eternal calm of the Son of God.
Put not your faith in illusions. ²They will fail you. ³Put all your faith in the Love of God within you; eternal, changeless and forever unfailing. ⁴This is the answer to whatever confronts you today. ⁵Through the Love of God within you, you can resolve all seeming difficulties without effort and in sure confidence. ⁶Tell yourself this often today. ⁷It is a declaration of release from the belief in idols. ⁸It is your acknowledgment of the truth about yourself. Accepting all of God’s Love is the answer to all our perceived problems. While we identify with a body, it is difficult to give up seeking solutions in the world for our perceived problems. We have thoroughly taught ourselves that this world is real. We need help to unlearn our mistaken lessons.
The daily practice of pausing to quiet our mind and welcome God’s peace is key to opening our mind to God’s Teacher. The sole purpose of His Teacher is to help us recognize that we remain united with God in all His Love. The Holy Spirit recognizes our perceptions, but He does not believe them. He is the bridge between our mistaken beliefs and the truth of God’s Love, which is our true Identity.
Today, whenever we feel uncertain or vulnerable, we practice reminding ourselves that we are sustained by God’s Love. He is our strength, our happiness and our peace. We give thanks that this is so.
