This holy instant would I give to You. Be You in charge. For I would follow You, certain that Your direction gives me peace.
And if I need a word to help me, He will give it to me. ²If I need a thought, that will He also give. ³And if I need but stillness and a tranquil, open mind, these are the gifts I will receive of Him. ⁴He is in charge by my request. ⁵And He will hear and answer me, because He speaks for God my Father and His holy Son. The Holy Spirit is the part of our mind that always knows our best interests. He speaks for God. The other voice in our mind speaks for the ego, which always leads to death. This voice does not know our best interests.
In every moment we choose between these two voices. The ego’s voice speaks only of illusions that deny the Source of true happiness and peace. But we can choose the Voice for God, which always teaches us that we remain united with our Creator. He leads us gently on the path of awakening from the ego’s lies to the truth that we are Love and nothing else.
This is our choice today. It is the choice for Love.
