The Home of Perfect Purity

In our reading of A Course in Miracles this morning, this is what stood out to me: “Heaven is the home of perfect purity, and God created it for you. Look on your holy brother, sinless as yourself, and let him lead you there.” (T-22.II.13:6-7)
If I am to experience the joy and peace of Heaven, I will practice today looking at the holiness of every brother and allowing the Holy Spirit in him to lead me to Heaven. My practice today is to remember Heaven’s changeless joy and to remember that this is the truth of every brother I see or even think of. This will bring me a happy day. I accept God’s happiness as mine.
Robert:
If I want the joy of Heaven, I need to accept God’s gift of Love. They are one and the same. If I think that any form in the world will make me happy, I am choosing a substitute for joy. Any substitute will have fear beneath the surface appearance because at least unconsciously I know that the appearance is not real and can change in an instant. Yet God’s gift of Love is ever-present, ready to be accepted in the present moment.
As I accept the Love of God, the value I have given to the images of the world fades away. The changelessness of His Love brings deep peace, for there can be no threat in what never changes. I ask the Holy Spirit to guide my vision today that I may see the the truth of Love everywhere and experience the certainty of Love.
