I ask Holy Spirit to help me see as He sees. An image comes to mind. I see figures of light vaguely in the shape of bodies and all these light forms are joined by light. Occasionally there is one light form that seems to lose connection. Immediately the remaining light reaches out to reestablish the connection. No one is left disconnected.
As I watch, the forms of light become less and less distinct and there seems to be a song rising from the light, a hymn that carries the message of joy in the unity of Light. This glorious hymn fills the air and the Light becomes more uniform with less visible shapes. It is clear that the Light and the hymn are one and the same. Both carry the same message of innocence and joy and peace.
I see that any time I judge, I become unaware of this presence, though it is all around me. I want to consistently experience this profound joy and deep peace that come with the hymn of Light. All I need to do to have this experience is to let go of all judgment. Today is a day of practice being vigilant against judgment and for the joy of Light. I give thanks for this happy reminder.

In our reading in A Course in Miracles this morning, the following was particularly helpful:
To follow the Holy Spirit’s guidance is to let yourself be absolved of guilt. It is the essence of the Atonement. It is the core of the curriculum. The imagined usurping of functions not your own is the basis of fear. The whole world you see reflects the illusion that you have done so, making fear inevitable. To return the function to the One to Whom it belongs is thus the escape from fear. And it is this that lets the memory of Love return to you. (ACIM M-29.3:3-9)
This reminds me that it is not my function to judge what anything means or is. My function is to refer all judgments to the Holy Spirit. It is important that I remember this all through the day. Having vigilance for only this is how I return Home. And for this Help I give thanks.
