Will I accept the truth today? Am I a body in a world of other bodies, or am I eternal Spirit? Am I still as God created me, or have I really succeeded in changing my identity into something different from God and my brothers? Am I willing to accept the truth today? Am I willing to accept the truth about every brother?
This is the choice I have today — to join with illusions of individuality or accept that the whole Sonship is still as God created It. Am I at peace, or am I fearful? How can I be truly helpful in a world where there seems to so much disaster and pain?
As I go into a place of quiet and listen, I am reminded that I am changeless Love along with every brother in this world I see… I have been given God’s gift of peace and joy which I extend to everyone… I recognize that this is how I can be truly helpful — to recognize that everyone is still in Heaven, in God’s Mind of Perfect Love along with me.
In truth, God’s eternal abundance is for everyone. We cannot change our Identity as perfect Love. I am truly helpful when I am willing to remember the truth about everyone’s safety. Minds are joined and that is how I bless the world and receive the blessings that I extend. Giving the truth truly is receiving the truth. I forgive the world of all I thought it was and give thanks that we still are as God created us.
Robert:
I rest in God. I feel restless when I believe I am not in God. Since God has already met all my needs, If I believe I am separate from God, I feel a need to fill the void left by the denial of God’s abundance. When there is a sense of lack, there can be no rest. This is why when I am identified with the ego thought system there is a feeling that I must be doing something, or at least planning to do something. Believing I am separate from God, I do not trust that all my needs are met.
As I remind myself that I rest in God, I feel myself relaxing. I feel myself becoming more at peace. The need to be doing or planning something fades and I relax more. My mind becomes more open to the Holy Spirit’s inspiration which is not clouded by my belief that I must do something to fill what is lacking in me. With this open mind, I am inspired to do in ease, without effort. When I am aligned with the Holy Spirit’s purpose, all my doing flows naturally and I am energized by the flow of Love. Today I will focus on remembering that I rest in God and all my needs are met.
