Accepting Love’s Gift of Itself

Today belongs to Love. Let me not fear.

Father, today I would let all things be as You created them, and give Your Son the honor due his sinlessness; the love of brother to his brother and his Friend. ²Through this I am redeemed. ³Through this as well the truth will enter where illusions were, light will replace all darkness, and Your Son will know he is as You created him.

A special blessing comes to us today, from Him Who is our Father. ²Give this day to Him, and there will be no fear today, because the day is given unto Love. (A Course in Miracles, W-274. See also ACIM Lesson 274 Insights.)

Love is our Source, our Father, Creator. Love is all that is real. As Love’s creation, our true Identity is Love. Only Love creates and only like Itself. Our true Self remains eternally united with Love. Nothing else exists.

Fear can be experienced only in a dream that denies Love. Forgiveness opens our minds to accept Love’s gifts of peace and happiness. It lets the Light within shine away the shadows of denial to reveal the safety and comfort of being joined with all Creation in one Love. This is the gift we give ourselves when we give the day to Love.
