Forgiveness Opens Our Mind to Receive God’s Love

Judgment and love are opposites. From one come all the sorrows of the world. But from the other comes the peace of God Himself.

Forgiveness looks on sinlessness alone, and judges not. ²Through this I come to You. ³Judgment will bind my eyes and make me blind. ⁴Yet love, reflected in forgiveness here, reminds me You have given me a way to find Your peace again. ⁵I am redeemed when I elect to follow in this way. ⁶You have not left me comfortless. ⁷I have within me both the memory of You, and One Who leads me to it. ⁸Father, I would hear Your Voice and find Your peace today. ⁹For I would love my own Identity, and find in It the memory of You. Love sees only Itself, because Love is all that is real. If we are not seeing Love, it is because we have identified with a false identity that is not real. This false identity looks out on a world that it judges as different from itself. This judgment makes the Love we are unknown to us.

Our Creator has placed a Voice in our mind to help us forgive our judgments. It teaches us that all appearances of differences are illusions. It shines them away with Love’s Light to reveal the memory of our unity with all in God’s Love. Forgiveness opens our mind to receive the Gift of Love, given us in our Creation.
