When you are still an instant, when the world recedes from you, when valueless ideas cease to have value in your restless mind, then will you hear His Voice.
Rest with Him frequently today. ²For He was willing to become a little Child that you might learn of Him how strong is he who comes without defenses, offering only love’s messages to those who think he is their enemy.
Take time today to lay aside your shield which profits nothing, and lay down the spear and sword you raised against an enemy without existence. ²Christ has called you friend and brother.

The ego is always restless. If there is any quiet moment, it seeks to find some conflict to perceive or dwell on in its reserves of conflicting thoughts. The ego thrives on conflict.
But we always have a choice. We can choose to step back from the ego’s noise. We can quiet our mind and relax into the peace that is our true nature. In the stillness our mind is open to Christ’s vision which shows us the Love that is our natural habitat. In Love’s Presence we recognize the truth in every brother and join with him in Love.
