Love created me like itself.
²I am in the likeness of my Creator. ³I cannot suffer, I cannot experience loss and I cannot die. ⁴I am not a body. ⁵I would recognize my reality today. ⁶I will worship no idols, nor raise my own self-concept to replace my Self. ⁷I am in the likeness of my Creator. ⁸Love created me like itself.

Because our true Self is eternally united with and the same as God’s Love, It sees only Love. This means our true Self shares God’s undisturbable peace and joy beyond comprehension. The fact that we don’t experience this shows us that we are identifying with a false image of What we are. If we look on a brother as an image with the potential to harm us, we are seeing a reflection of what we believe we are.
Belief makes the appearance of reality, but the reality of the changeless Love we are is unchanged. We remain as Love created us. We have the means, given us by God, to release ourselves from our limited image of our identity.
Holy Spirit, help me see with Christ’s vision. I am willing to bring all my perceptions to You for Your loving correction. I want to remember my true Identity. With Your help, I will see my Identity reflected in the Love my brother is. It is my deepest desire to remember that I am Love and nothing else.
