Putting Love in Charge

This holy instant would I give to You. Be
You in charge. For I would follow You,
certain that Your direction gives me peace.

And if I need a word to help me, He will give it to me. ²If I need a thought, that will He also give. ³And if I need but stillness and a tranquil, open mind, these are the gifts I will receive of Him. ⁴He is in charge by my request. ⁵And He will hear and answer me, because He speaks for God my Father and His holy Son. When we put the ego in charge, our experience is filled disruptions, disunity, disorder and discord. When we put the Holy Spirit in charge, we experience the constancy and unity of changeless Love. There is no conflict for His vision shows us the singularity of Love. In every instant we choose between these two options.

By beginning each day with a dedication to follow the Holy Spirit’s lead, we affirm our willingness to follow His direction. It is a choice to be happy and loving because we are accepting our Self as God created It.
