Mary:
As I go to Spirit this morning, I am quietly reminded that there is no past, there is no future. There is only God right now. There is only Love eternally. I sit with that, absorbing the implications and applying it to my “dream life.”
What shows up for me as I do this is that I need not “worry” about anything. I truly am being carried through the dream story. The more I am willing to practice stepping back, going to peace and following Holy Spirit’s lead, the smoother the story becomes. The more I let go of control and trust in the Truth to lead me Home, the more simple my “life” becomes.
The old habit of trying to make something happen is gradually replaced with a gentle, receptive quietness. There is a growing feeling that all is well and that everyone is safe, no matter what crazy stories are being played out. There is a feeling of softness, gentleness and inner peace. I think this is what it means when A Course in Miracles tells us that, “Miracles come to the quiet mind.”
Robert:
As an extension of Love, I have one function — to give Love as It was given me. There is nothing else to do. In this world the reflection of this function is to forgive, which means to release the barriers to Love. Love extends automatically because of what It is.
The world was made as an attempt to limit Love and thus stands as a barrier against It. Forgiveness is simply the recognition that all seeming barriers to Love are not real.
To release these barriers built in my mind, I need help from beyond the seeming barriers. That help is the Holy Spirit, the one Self that I share with all my brothers. So while I believe I am in this world, my job is to turn over all interfering thoughts and welcome the gentle correction of what is not true. The resulting corrected perception is a forgiven world. The barriers against Love are dissolved and Love is allowed to be Itself.
This is my function today and every day.
