Remembering Our Invulnerability in Love

What Comforter can there be for the sick children of God except His power through you? ²Remember that it does not matter where in the Sonship He is accepted. ³He is always accepted for all, and when your mind receives Him the remembrance of Him awakens throughout the Sonship. ⁴Heal your brothers simply by accepting God for them. ⁵Your minds are not separate, and God has only one channel for healing because He has but one Son. ⁶God’s remaining Communication Link [Holy Spirit] with all His children joins them together, and them to Him. ⁷To be aware of this is to heal them because it is the awareness that no one is separate, and so no one is sick.

To believe that a Son of God can be sick is to believe that part of God can suffer. ²Love cannot suffer, because it cannot attack. ³The remembrance of love therefore brings invulnerability with it. ⁴Do not side with sickness in the presence of a Son of God even if he believes in it, for your acceptance of God in him acknowledges the Love of God he has forgotten. ⁵Your recognition of him as part of God reminds him of the truth about himself, which he is denying. ⁶Would you strengthen his denial of God and thus lose sight of yourself? ⁷Or would you remind him of his wholeness and remember your Creator with him? Because God is Love and nothing else, His Creation is only Love and remains one with Himself. In the dream of separation, His Son appears as many, but God sees them all as one. The Course refers to them as the Sonship as a bridge to help us look past the illusion of many to the recognition that we all united in one Love with our Creator.

In the dream, the illusion of sickness appears to demonstrate that we are separate and vulnerable. But as we learn to see the Love that is the true Identity of our brothers, we learn that we are that same Love. Love shows us our invulnerability in our unity with all that is Real.
