There is a light in you which cannot die; whose presence is so holy that the world is sanctified because of you.
This is the way salvation works. ²As you step back, the light in you steps forward and encompasses the world.
“Who walks with me?” ²This question should be asked a thousand times a day, till certainty has ended doubting and established peace. ³Today let doubting cease. ⁴God speaks for you in answering your question with these words:
⁵I walk with God in perfect holiness. ⁶I light the world, I light my mind and all the minds which God created one with me. (A Course in Miracles, W-156.4:1;6:1-2;8. See also ACIM Lesson 156 Insights.)
For most of us, most of the time, the answer to “Who walks with me?” is the ego. But God does not condemn us for this mistaken choice. He has given us the Holy Spirit who waits patiently for us to choose Him instead.
The choice to walk with the Holy Spirit is the choice for peace of mind that cannot be disturbed. It is the choice for lasting happiness and joyous union with all our brothers in the Mind of God.
Today we have the opportunity to diligently practice making this choice. Each time we make this choice, our confidence in our perfect holiness and unity with our Creator grows stronger. Our light in the world becomes brighter. We become messengers of Love to the world.
