I see all things as I would have them be.
Perception follows judgment. ²Having judged, we therefore see what we would look upon. ³For sight can merely serve to offer us what we would have. ⁴It is impossible to overlook what we would see, and fail to see what we have chosen to behold. ⁵How surely, therefore, must the real world come to greet the holy sight of anyone who takes the Holy Spirit’s purpose as his goal for seeing. ⁶And he cannot fail to look upon what Christ would have him see, and share Christ’s Love for what he looks upon.
I have no purpose for today except to look upon a liberated world, set free from all the judgments I have made. ²Father, this is Your Will for me today, and therefore it must be my goal as well. (A Course in Miracles, W-312. See also ACIM Lesson 312 Insights.)
As long as we believe the body is our identity, we are judging against the Reality of God’s Love. We have denied Love’s oneness. It is a judgment against God. This judgment has no effect on Reality, but it makes Reality unknown to us. This is why we need to relinquish all our judgments.
We need to turn over all our judgments to the Holy Spirit. With His help we can learn to accept what He judges as true and let go of any other perception. Only Love is true and real. As we let Holy Spirit’s judgment replace our own, we welcome the Reality of our oneness in Love with our Father and every brother. This is our release into the perfect peace and joy of God’s Love.
