The Goal of Joining in Love

The Course tells us to ask of everything, “What is it for?” The answer to this question is only meaningful at the level of Spirit. At the level of form, the purpose of a telephone appears to be to talk to someone at a distance. At the level of Spirit, the only meaningful purpose is to communicate — to join in Love. It is this that must be our goal in every moment if we are to remember our true Self.

Our true Self knows only the unity of Love. Accepting Love’s unity is our only meaningful purpose in all things. Today we ask the Holy Spirit to guide our doing and our thoughts to the goal of joining in Love and extending Love so that we may remember we are Love.
