We All Are God’s Son Eternally

Whatever suffers is not part of me.

I have disowned the truth. ²Now let me be as faithful in disowning falsity. ³Whatever suffers is not part of me. ⁴What grieves is not myself. ⁵What is in pain is but illusion in my mind. ⁶What dies was never living in reality, and did but mock the truth about myself. ⁷Now I disown self-concepts and deceits and lies about the holy Son of God. ⁸Now am I ready to accept him back as God created him, and as he is.

Father, my ancient love for You returns, and lets me love Your Son again as well. ²Father, I am as You created me. ³Now is Your Love remembered, and my own. ⁴Now do I understand that they are one. (A Course in Miracles, W-248. See also ACIM Lesson 248 Insights.)

When we believe anyone is a body, we are disowning our true Identity as God’s Son. Only Love is real, and Love is our Identity, eternally one with our Creator.

The Love of God calls to us to remember we are Love. The Love we are sees only the Love that is the truth in everyone. Forgiveness clears away the self-deception that causes us to suffer, grieve and experience pain of any kind.

Today we choose to hear our Father’s call and accept His gift of Love. With His Love in our hearts, we claim our unity with the Love in everyone. We rest in His peace, confident that we remain God’s Son eternally.
