We Are Free to Accept God’s Love Now

Creation’s freedom promises my own.

The end of dreams is promised me, because God’s Son is not abandoned by His Love. ²Only in dreams is there a time when he appears to be in prison, and awaits a future freedom, if it be at all. ³Yet in reality his dreams are gone, with truth established in their place. ⁴And now is freedom his already. ⁵Should I wait in chains which have been severed for release, when God is offering me freedom now?

I will accept Your promises today, and give my faith to them. ²My Father loves the Son Whom He created as His Own. ³Would You withhold the gifts You gave to me? (A Course in Miracles, W-279. See also ACIM Lesson 279 Insights.)

The nature of God’s Love is to give It to all without limit. The wish for specialness is a wish for limits. Differences are established by limits. Limits can only be experienced in dreams that deny God’s gift of all of Himself to His Son.

The Holy Spirit calls us to accept God’s promise of all of His Love. To allow this to happen, the Holy Spirit helps us forgive our mistaken wishes. Forgiveness opens our mind to receive the Love that has been given us since before the dream of time occupied our mind. Love is our true Identity, now and forever.
