God’s Son is perfect, or he cannot be God’s Son. Nor will you know him, if you think he does not merit the escape from guilt in all its consequences and its forms. There is no way to think of him but this, if you would know the truth about yourself. I thank you, Father, for Your perfect Son, and in his glory will I see my own. Today we practice accepting the Holy Spirit’s help to see past all differences to the fact that everyone in the dream is God’s one perfect Son. The illusion of differences does not matter and is only a representation of the ego’s wish to see a separated and guilty world outside itself.
With this choice, we see past separation to oneness.
Forgiveness is the only purpose for the world because it is the Holy Spirit’s purpose. We may make up other seeming purposes, but they only seem to have value we believe in a false world of separation. Since these made up purposes are based on illusion, they are meaningless.
Because we have bought into the idea of separation, we need help from beyond this thought system to fulfill our purpose. This help is the Holy Spirit’s function. Our part in forgiveness of the world is to bring every unforgiving thought, every image of separation, to the Holy Spirit with willingness to accept His help.
With His help, we can see the innocent face of Christ in every brother. We can see our Self reflected back to us in every brother. As we are willing to accept Holy Spirit’s guidance in all our seeing today, we will see a forgiven world — the real world.
