A New Way to See

Carefully Constructed Dream

What if my carefully constructed ideas came tumbling- -no crashing down? Little mind would be overwhelmed and fraught with fear for it deeply believes in what it has built, and yet is equally fearful that it will be discovered as the Huxter,the fraud, the manipulator of the dream.
Yes!! I am the dreamer of the dream. I have chosen what I see, hear, feel. I have played the innocent bystander unaware of what I make. I have made others appear as untrustworthy, takers, and users. I made up my story so I could wear the face of innocence and not look within to see the hidden insane thoughts I made to keep me “safe” from truth.
Oh indeed! “Oh, what a triangle web we weave when first we practice to deceive.”* What started as a tiny mad idea soon became the all encompassing game of the little mind; to keep itself, cloaked in innocence and to keep me believing that “it” was me. This story has run since its shadow first crossed the garden of the mind.
I find that I am playing in the little mind’s dream. I feel fear from becoming a Teacher of God. And fear waking from the dream. Yet, at least I am now aware of the unkind, unloving thoughts that pop into my mind. If I choose in that moment to be more awake and less asleep, I seek the Holy Spirit’s aid in releasing the guilt laid thought and welcome or accept the loving thought instead. I am reminded “That thought is not you.” When I can step back, see with Love’s eyes, I free myself and my neighbor, friend, or brother. When I free him or her from my projection, my sick thought, I am freed as well.
My thoughts can be healed. When I truly relinquish my hold or belief in them, they disappear. They disappear because the power of the thought is all encompassing. The power or energy of my thoughts have made what my sick mind wanted to perceive. When I no longer value what I made in error, my mind can shift, returning it to what lays beyond perceptions or dreams.
