Message: ³Father and Son and Holy Spirit are as One, as all your brothers join as one in truth. ⁴Christ and His Father never have been separate, and Christ abides within your understanding, in the part of you that shares His Father’s Will. ⁵The Holy Spirit links the other part—the tiny, mad desire to be separate, different and special—to the Christ, to make the oneness clear to what is really one. ⁶In this world this is not understood, but can be taught. ⁴It is the Holy Spirit’s function to teach you how this oneness is experienced, what you must do that it can be experienced, and where you should go to do it. ⁴Yet must It use the language that this mind can understand, in the condition in which it thinks it is. ⁵And It must use all learning to transfer illusions to the truth, taking all false ideas of what you are, and leading you beyond them to the truth that _is_ beyond them. ⁶All this can very simply be reduced to this: ⁷What is the same can not be different, and what is one can not have separate parts. (A Course in Miracles, T-25.I.5:3-6;6:4;7:4-7. See also ACIM Text Made Simple.) The ego is the denial of oneness, so it cannot understand what oneness is. As long as we identify with the ego, we need to be taught how to experience the oneness that is our natural state. That is the Holy Spirit’s function. He is our bridge of return to knowing the truth at that we remain at one with the Love that created us one with Itself. The ego thinks in terms of different images which symbolize its wish for specialness. The Holy Spirit uses symbols we can understand to help us transfer illusions of differences to recognition of our oneness with all that is real. If we are willing, He will teach us how to open our mind to receive the Love that is given to us eternally, without limit. Today we practice listening to His kind and gentle lessons in Love. https://www.pathwaysoflight.org/index.php/daily_inspiration/12923
