I am spirit. ²I am the Son of God. ³No body can contain my spirit, nor impose on me a limitation God created not. I will accept my part in God’s plan for salvation. ²What can my function be but to accept the Word of God, Who has created me for what I am and will forever be? (A Course in Miracles, W-114.1–2. See also ACIM Lesson 114 Insights.) Our seemingly unique identity as a body is solely a construct of the wish for specialness. It is not God’s creation because separation is not His Will. We are spirit, free to extend our Father’s Love without limit while remaining eternally one with Him. The body is a limit we have accepted in order to have special status. It is an image, made by the ego, to hide the Self that is God’s Son. Our Father has not forgotten us. He has offered us a plan that will set us free to return to our natural loving Self. We have been given the Holy Spirit to help us forgive our mistaken beliefs and remember the Love that keeps us forever safe.
