Mary: Today presents another opportunity to practice seeing past individuality and differences to the oneness that is really there. Today is another opportunity to practice stepping back and letting the Holy Spirit show me the truth of oneness behind the false stories of separate bodies. This is the forgiveness work that is before me today: To see past separate forms to the one Christ Light. What I desire to see I will see. Today my intent is to let my mind be healed by the Holy Spirit. Judgment is not my job. I will let the Holy Spirit be the judge of all things today. Robert: The ego is heavily invested in the “reality” of the world. Its seeming existence depends upon our belief that the world of forms and images is real. A Course in Miracles tells us point blank: There is no world and the body is nothing. This shakes the ego to its core, understandably so. For when we fully accept these facts, the ego will no longer seem to exist. We will see our brother as he is: The loving extension of God’s Love. We will experience the peace and the joy that come with knowing there is no “other” that can threaten us, there is only the joy of God. Each moment I choose what I want. I have taught myself that there is value in the world and its myriad forms. But by the grace of God, I have a Teacher in my mind ready to teach me to recognize what is truly valuable, to undo the false lessons I have taught myself. My increasing experience of peace and happiness motivates me to continue to be vigilant to offer my false ideas to the Holy Spirit for His kind and gentle correction.
