Today my practice is to accept Christ’s vision, asking myself frequently, “How does Christ’s vision see this circumstance?” Asking this question helps me step back from the ego’s way of seeing the world and open to the Light of truth. Unless I am willing to open to the Light of truth, I cannot be helpful to myself or the Sonship. This is a simple practice, but requires that I stay vigilant to make opening to the truth my highest priority. The more I am consistent with this practice, the easier it becomes. And I give thanks. A Course in Miracles tells me that I am the Light of the world. This does not mean that the image of a separate identity in a body is the Light of the world. It means the truth of what I am, the extension of God’s Love, is the Light of the world. The way I bring this Light to the world is through forgiveness, letting go of the idea of being a separate identity. When I allow myself to accept Christ’s vision, I see the Love that is everywhere, looking past appearances of individuality. Today as I practice seeing with the vision of Christ, the appearances of the world fade and I see the Light of truth shining back to me everywhere I look.
