You are one Self, united and secure in light and joy and peace. You are one Self, the holy Son of God, united with your brothers in that Self; united with your Father in His Will. Feel this one Self in you, and let It shine away all your illusions and your doubts. This is your Self, the Son of God Himself, sinless as Its Creator, with His strength within you and His Love forever yours. You are one Self, and it is given you to feel this Self within you, and to cast all your illusions out of the one Mind that is this Self, the holy truth in you. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.95.12:1;13:2-5) Our one Self is Love and nothing else. We can never be without Love in truth. If we feel lack of Love in any way, it can only be because we believe we are not our one Self. We believe we have succeeded in separating ourself from the Love we are. We release ourselves from this mistaken belief through forgiveness. Each time we bring a thought or perception that disturbed our peace to the Holy Spirit and let Him correct our mistaken belief, we more clearly see past the veil that hides our one Self from our awareness. Today our practice is to remember that anyone we meet or think of is our one Self, united with us in the Love of God.
