Message: Over the past week I have been communicating with an old friend, a woman whom I was close to when I was in my 20’s. We were discussing our first marriages and the heartache we felt when the marriages ended. In the past I would have felt a little bitter and victimized, but today I don’t feel that way at all. I feel only compassion for the men who left us. I understand that they were feeling there own sense of lack. My first husband was killed in a car accident shortly after we divorced and I had just married my present husband.
