901: Introduction to Miracles Practice
A Course in Miracles is all about forming and reinforcing the practice of receiving and extending miracles. This is the journey Home. This is the core of our reawakening to the strength and peace of God that has never left us. We have just temporarily covered It up by putting our faith in the false ideas of believing in bodies. Accepting the miracle, which is the correction of our perception, comes with our willingness to receive the truth of our true Identity in God as universal, undivided Love. This means being willing to let go of the idea that we are separate from the oneness of God. The miracle is what we receive in our mind as we let our belief in weakness, limitation and separation be replaced by our eternal reality as Love.
This course is all about allowing ourselves to form and reinforce the daily practice of receiving and extending miracles. 902: Remembering to Choose Peace
Feelings of depression, loss, impatience, anxiety, anger or the slightest irritation are symptoms of lack of peace. When this happens, we are confusing illusion with truth. Because we have bought into the idea of separation and individuality, we need the Holy Spirit to reinterpret our misperceptions and return us to the experience of peace and joy.
In order to choose peace, it is important to practice being in peace so it is easier to recognize when we are not in peace. As you strengthen your motivation to choose peace, you remember that peace is your real home and that thoughts of conflict, limitation and strife do not come from your real Self. As you are more open to correction, the obstacles to peace are easier to flow across. You stop making the body real and realize that you are your brother. Your fear of Love subsides and you accept the peace and joy of God by extending it to your brothers.

903: Gratitude for God’s Gifts
Being in a place of gratitude brings you healing and happiness. It helps you remember your wholeness. 905: Special Relationships vs. Holy Relationships
Specialness means maintaining a separate image. Holiness means maintaining an awareness of wholeness — one, all-inclusive whole. A special relationship focuses on differences, which keeps separation in place. A holy relationship looks past differences and sees only oneness. 913: Two Categories — Real… Unreal
A Course in Miracles helps us understand that everything that is real is changeless and eternal. Everything that is real is the limitless, formless, Light of God and extends as one Light forever.
Everything that is real is an extension of Love and remains in the Mind of God eternally. In reality, there is no time; there is no space. There are no bodies in a world of separation. Reality is our unity in Heaven. In God we are one Light, with no distance between us. Separation is just an unreal dream — a delusion of false perception. False perception originates from the desire or choice to be separate from the oneness of God. If we want to see individuality we will see it, but what we see will be illusions, not reality.
So our only real choice is between the real and the unreal. There are only two categories of seeing, and the world we see will reflect our choice. In this course you will practice choosing Heaven instead of hell. You will learn to recognize illusions for what they are and let them go, not out of sacrifice, but in the happy laughter of release with the Holy Spirit. 916: Teacher of God
The purpose of A Course in Miracles is to teach us how to be miracle workers — teachers of God. As we continue to delve deeper into the thought system of A Course in Miracles and apply its principles, the false ideas of the ego gradually are seen as what they are — meaningless. As we gradually learn to think the thoughts that come from Holy Spirit, our minds are changed. Who we think we are is changed. Who we think our brothers are is changed. We are more able to see through the clouds of the ego's hallucination. We recognize more and more that we are eternal Spirit.
As we recognize the truth of oneness more and more, we just naturally become a part of the Atonement. We just naturally join the Holy Spirit's plan that leads to the great awakening. 917: You Are in Heaven Now
In this course we will work with answering the following questions:

919: Serving God’s Plan of Awakening
In A Course in Miracles, Jesus wants us to fully understand God’s plan of awakening and the opportunities we have for healing ourselves and our brother as we return Home. He is very helpful in sharing God’s plan, our specific part in it and how urgent it is to fulfill it. We would not plan on our own, for this only makes our fears and defenses bigger. 920: Being a Miracle Worker
In this course we will have the opportunity to join in the goal of working miracles. Together we will practice inviting, accepting and extending the truth that God’s one Son is changeless. We will practice seeing past differences to the untied Love that is the truth about every brother.
As miracle workers in training, we will practice extending our open hands to every brother and help them walk along the road with us. We will practice placing our trust in God and know that we all are surrounded by the Love of God. We will join with Jesus to be a messenger of God. We will not decide anything on our own, but be directed by the Holy Spirit by developing the constant habit of joining with the peace of God.
We will work in depth with pages 1-16 of the Manual for Teachers, applying what we are learning as we go. We will take each characteristic of God’s teachers and assimilate trust, honesty, tolerance, gentleness, joy, defenselessness, generosity, patience, faithfulness and open-mindedness into our beingness. We will practice these characteristics until being a miracle worker becomes as natural as melting snow on a warm spring day.
We will embody these characteristics into every part of our “life” as we remember there is no order of difficulty in miracles. We will see how this beingness lifts us up, like the wings of a butterfly, to raise us up above the battleground of individuality and differences. The booklet, Psychotherapy, Purpose, Process and Practice, which came from Jesus as an extension of the principles of A Course in Miracles, is included in this course. We will cover the first half of this booklet in this course.
Psycho means “of the mind” and therapy means healing. Since we are only mind and not a body, it is only our minds that can be healed. A mind closed to our one Identity as Love is closed to the truth. All true healing is essentially opening the mind to the truth, or our Reality in God. This can only be done through the Holy Spirit, Who is the only therapist. With this in mind, this course will be devoted to learning from the Holy Spirit the true cause of all fear and how to evaluate these fears correctly. “What higher goal could there be for anyone than to learn to call upon God and hear His Answer?” (P-Intro.2:2) We will learn to join together with the Holy Spirit to forgive our illusions and let go of attack that comes with believing in false self-concepts.
We will welcome the return to sanity, which is what psychotherapy really is. “God comes to those who would restore His world, for they have found the way to call to Him. If any two are joined, He must be there.” (P-II.6:4-5)

924: ACIM Practitioner, Part IV
This course will cover the second half of the booklet Psychotherapy, Purpose, Process and Practice. As we continue deepening our practice, we will learn by experience the meaning of, “A brother seeking aid can bring us gifts beyond the heights perceived in any dream.” (P-II.V.5:1)
We will see that we awaken as we join with our brother in the one goal of healing our minds of our belief in separation, and therefore guilt. As we help our brother forgive himself, we are deepening our own forgiveness process.
We will explore healing that includes both casual encounters and the more formal settings of joining in ACIM groups or joining with another with the Holy Spirit as the Guide. With this one goal, the healing of everyone involved is assured.
We will practice applying the important message Jesus gives us: “Healing occurs as a patient begins to hear the dirge he sings, and questions its validity. Until he hears it, he cannot understand that it is he who sings it to himself. To hear it is the first step in recovery. To question it must then become his choice.” (P-II.5:1) We will look closely at the stages of healing and how important it is not to miss one step.
We will experience ACIM based counseling — the healing of our minds with the Holy Spirit as the psychotherapist. We will practice being a clear channel of the Holy Spirit and let our own minds be healed.
