The challenges are many.
All unexpected.

Pain, fear, confusion, conflict
are my companions as well.
They are also guides.
They tell me of the false
judgments to which I still cling.

But my walking is filled with joy.
In the darkness before sunrise
Venus encourages me from the east
the moon leads me on to the west.

The star filled sky
tells me of the mystery that is
unfolding and the setting sun,
at the end of my day, tells me
of the old ways of being that
are coming to an end.

Love is my true guide
and constant companion.

I hear Love’s voice
in the beauty that surrounds me,
the rhythm of my steps,
the encouragement and blessings
from my fellow travelers.

Love fills my heart.
It answers my call for clarity.
It guides me to right action
and peace.

I walk the way of St. James.
He called me to this journey.
It was a summoning
I heard clearly.

His lesson is one of
turning conflict into peace
and fear into Love.
