There Are No Coincidences

In the course of needing physical therapy for my left hand, the spiritual sister who came to help me with physical therapy also was sent by Spirit to me for us to share the Course together.

She shared with me that her brother had a challenge in the world of substance abuse. She was very concerned about him and wanted to help him.

Suddenly I felt such happiness because I had something very wonderful to share with her.  I read her paragraph 11 on page 122 of the Text:

“Come therefore unto me, and learn of the truth in you. The mind we share is shared by all our brothers, and as we see them truly they will be healed. Let your mind shine with mine upon their minds, and by our gratitude to them make them aware of the light in them. This light will shine back upon you and on the whole Sonship, because this is your proper gift to God. He will accept it and give it to the Sonship, because it is acceptable to Him and therefore to His Sons. This is true communion with the Holy Spirit, Who sees the altar of God in everyone, and by bringing it to your appreciation, He calls upon you to love God and His creation. You can appreciate the Sonship only as one. This is part of the law of creation, and therefore governs all thought.”

Because she was familiar with the Course, she knew instantly what was being given to us by the Holy Spirit. Our hearts were filled with joy when we realized we were given the gift to mentally share with her brother through Spirit’s communication.

What joy we felt in our heart when we realized how instrumental the one Mind is to bring messages exactly where they need to go. The one Mind is all inclusive and has everything real from God living in the one Mind that was ever created and purposeful for all of us.

We remember that no words need to be spoken to her brother because Love Itself will carry the message. We can know with certainty that the brother’s part of the Mind will receive the truth about his true Nature and Who he really is — a beautiful Child of God — the same as all of us with no exceptions. In the perfect timing and in his own readiness with the doors and windows open in his mind, he receives the truth that has always been.

He may have chosen the illusion, but now he can be free and we thank God for the workings of this plan. It keeps us all safe in God’s Love.

We can return to God’s Love whenever we are ready. So now my friend and I rest in the certainty of this truth that our brother has never left Love; it’s just a dream..

Note: My Course friend later reported that her brother had improved and was making better choices in his life.
