Trusting Holy Spirit’s Lead

I am in South Korea (retired Military). My wife and I live in Dongducheon-si (Camp Casey). How we got here (Dongducheon), is a story all by itself.

March 2021- My wife comes to me, and says we need to find a house/apartment because we had to move out of the apartment by the middle of September 2021. I told her not to worry, it was all in His hands. She looked at me kind of, “Yeah, but I’ll still search the papers,” and with that, she went on searching the papers for an apartment. Every day was an apartment coming to rent (sometimes two or three apartments) …every day was a flop. It didn’t have this, or that (most of the time was parking below ground and handicap access).

April 2021- My wife again comes to me, and, again, says we’ve got to find an apartment because it was getting too close to the time we were to move. I told her not to worry, that the Holy Spirit had told me He would get involved in it. She didn’t believe in this, though she had been a big “church goer” much of her life.

May – August 2021- It is every week or so, that she came to me and implored me to get involved. I did not, for the Holy Spirit had assured me that He would take us both to Dongducheon in September.

The last day of August 2021- My wife learns of an apartment in Dongducheon. She goes up there and the rent is only $600.00 a month, handicapped access, 5th floor, and the rental agreement ($20,000.00, which we get back) was applied to it. The lady renting the place said it will only be available two-years. And the lady was an ideal rental lady. The apartment was PERFECT!

I went to my wife, and I said it was what you wanted, wasn’t it? She muttered an affirmative, but she couldn’t believe what she wanted everything the apartment had.
