Accepting Christ’s Vision

Behold the store of miracles set out for you to give. Are you not worth the gift, when God appointed it be given you? Judge not God’s Son, but follow in the way He has established. Christ has dreamed the dream of a forgiven world. It is His gift, whereby a sweet transition can be made from death to life; from hopelessness to hope. Let us an instant dream with Him. His dream awakens us to truth. His vision gives the means for a return to our unlost and everlasting sanctity in God. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.159.10)

The Holy Spirit shows us the face of Christ in every brother. As we are willing to accept Holy Spirit’s vision instead of our hallucinations of separation, guilt and conflict, we see a forgiven world. We see past the dream of separation to the eternal Presence of God’s holy Light. We see innocence where once saw guilt. We see oneness where we once saw separation.

The Holy Spirit will show us the real world as we are willing to realize that we have no need to see a world of separation, lack and loss. We have no need to dream of being a victim of a world that is outside us. We are willing to let go of these false images and accept a dream of a forgiven world. The Holy Spirit will bring us Christ’s vision as we are willing to accept it. This is our practice for today.
