Choose to Receive the Truth

Holy Spirit to Mary:
This world is a dream. What is real and of God is eternal. The world you live in is in a state of constant change — a world of danger and conflict. This world does not reflect your true Nature, your true Self. To find your true Self, learn to take frequent intervals when you hand over your stories of conflict and lack of Love and choose instead to receive the truth. You are then in a place of opening to receive the peace of your true Self.

Your true Self is constant and does not change. The false ideas fall away as the presence of your true Nature comes forward. Here there is quietness. Here there is peace. From here you extend peace, Love and joy to the whole Sonship. You are able to see past this world and feel the beingness of what is eternally true.

Give time today to rest in the truth. Give time today to listen and receive the awareness of what is true forever. It is worth giving it the time.

Robert:
Holding grievances blocks my awareness of Love’s Presence, because Love holds no grievances. Having an opinion or judgment about anything is a grievance. It is a statement that if a circumstance or situation where someone’s words or behavior were somehow different and more to my liking, I would be happy (a.k.a. saved). This is really saying that my happiness is out of my control. It depends on other people or outside circumstances. This is discouraging because it is clear that I have no control over these things “outside.”

Thankfully, A Course in Miracles tells me that the world I see is simply a projection of my beliefs and I can change my beliefs. I change my beliefs by offering all my perceptions to the Holy Spirit with an open mind, willing to receive His loving correction. This is how I clear away the blocks to the joyful awareness of Love’s eternal presence. This is my practice for today.
